Arguably the hottest rap trio in the game, Migos has finally dropped Culture II, the follow-up album to Culture, which dropped January 27, 2017 last year. Culture II has a 24-song tracklist that spans for 1 hour and 45 minutes, with features from stars like Drake (who the group hasn't collaborated with since 2014), 21 Savage, Post Malone, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, and Ty Dolla $ign. Throughout the album, the Migos appear to attempt to break out of their mumble rap reputation, with songs like "Notice Me" (featuring Post Malone), "Made Men", and Stir Fry".

Migos are clearly dabbling in more versatility, utilizing the creative work of producers like Pharell, Kanye West, Zaytoven, and Metro Boomin. We see Quavo being more hands on, as he produced his first-ever song. There are a variety of beats; some reserved for the turn-up, some funky, and some, like "Made Men" are just made for vibin'. Quavo even offers some words for the haters in "Culture National Anthem", "Believe me when I say/we create our own sound."

It's clear that the Migos refuse to remain stagnant in their sound production, but they will be met with critics and comparisons to the sound of the original Culture either way.

So, what are the streets saying about Culture II? The verdict is mixed.

Are you feeling Culture II, or do you need a few more days to let the sound marinate? Let us know in the comments!
